Behold, the latest Proton Saga BLM Pictures, in full, not disguised and and not clay model, not even on Paultan. From what I see here, damn cun. I especially like the lamps, both head and tail. Proton now have to find the right time to introduce this into the market, too soon will hurt a bit Persona sale (or may not), too long, some people might already loose interest. With the super cheap price, it’s hard to resist. Current dated saga selling only RM27K. No interior spyshot yet for the BLM. If you have any, please share with us will ya. Heard that the BLM interior very nice.

BLM looks like a nice car. Kudos to Proton for learning to adapt to people’s taste, and to price its cars to an average income earner. Think about it, 14 years ago I had to spend RM55,000 to get a brand new Wira. That was like 1.5 years of my salary. But now BLM is going to cost much less than this, surely to the delight of many youngsters who are struggling to balance their paychecks.
For those who look down on this car (and its target customers), please, I’m now in my mid-30s and awaiting for the delivery my new C-Class. It’s going to cost me RM250,000. But remember, all of us have to start from somewhere. Many of us start from humble beginning. But as you become more successful over the years, and graduating towards more expensive cars, there’s no need to look down on Proton and their customers.

berkata pasal PROTON.. aku pun pakai proton ISWARA 1.3 tahun 99. memang mahal masa tu aku beli 38 ribu.. tapi okla.. walau banyak problem sepanjang aku pakai sparepart mampu beli.. TAHNIAH utk proton …tapi lani kalau aku nak jual hanya laku 7 ribu jek… teruk tu kan
TETAPI.. apa yang diorang dok complain tu memang ada benarnya, keluaran proton banyak yang kurang kualiti (bukan tak ada kualiti).. bayangkan aja kereta aku tuh.. berapa kali lakena tukar waterpump dan wheel bearing dalam setahun.. memang la murah tapi aku menyampah… asyik kena tukar..berbanding member aku yang pakai honda lak.. tak adala kena tukar sekerap tu… memang honda agak mahal tapi jualpon masih ada penawaran..tapi kalau proton Iswara aku..HAMPEHH.. apakan daya aku mampu beli pon Iswara je.. tapi aku merasa kena TIPU beli kereta proton ni…..

Haha! It looks soso, but engine don’t think it has met the quality standard. Most of local cars except Kenari….. semua telan minyak kuat. interior material all bad quality! Another failure product from proton. Poor guy’s choice. Perduo better abit but i still want to fuck it off.. I’m having my MyV car. Fuel consumption is bad. Those are not capable to buy better quality car sure they will convince themselves about the good things of Local car especially proton.
Those oversea protons have been sold cheaper in UK, Europe, China… with better quality. But in Malaysia, proton trying to bluf malaysian.. more expensive but lower quality!

This car might tapau Myvi, Viva and sorry to say..Naza Sutera/Forza/Fucka..will surely tutup kedai…this BLM will compete fiercely with Myvi..but will easily murder Viva, Forza/Fucka..for practicality (space/fuel consumption)..combined with attractive price and reasonable styling..BLM should perform well in the Malaysian automarket..anyway..good luck to Proton and Perodua ..and for Naza..just do wat you do best..ie..cheating AP and sell re-con cars to the malaysian public…:)

It is nicely designed by proton, albeit ideas taken here and there. Who has the original ideas anyway? Additonally it was jointly designed with LG, so we could see some Korean DNA in it. The protectionisme policy may be abolished after 2010, so that the gov can comply with NAFTA tariff regulations. I can see proton heading the right way to compete with bigger players, ie better quality, nice outlook.

For those who are anti-national car, please do take away your ego and think about it. Lets say your parents giving you a great ignorance since young, you cant say that all parents are sux. Only your parents giving you the ignorance but not for others. Even motocyclist are happy with their life, depends on how much you demand on your living. Do think about your citizenship before you talk. We all know local car cannot compare with japan made or german made automobile, but what can a malaysia citizen can do if the salary is RM2k per month or less? Is it better to ride a bike or take a cheaper car with roof to drive? Malaysia is hoping everybody can afford the minimum luxury, and lower the inflation. Cant you realise that USD conversion rate already drop down to RM3.28 = USD $1 ?
You got the rights to say, malaysia made automobile is not up to the quality and standard, but why not you compare our malaysia car to china cherry qq ? have you sit before? Or let you choose between 3, China made Chery, India made Mahandra, Malaysia Made Proton/Perodua. Choose between these 3, which one you choose? We are talking about different country product, not same brand from same country. You are regarding Honda/Toyota/Nissan/ All these from Japan. BMW/Merc/Audi/ from German.
The technology they use, the manpower they have is totally different. Same goes to your salary. You think your salary able to pay for a Mustang? But people work in USA/UK, this kind of crapy car can simply get for $16k. Is this so call cheap car? They look more towards 4.8cc, V12 engine. or more. But whats more they can classify japanese car? “Oh… Japanese car are craps with the flimsy car body, and small CC engine with VTEC? hahahaa. ”
Well… dont be proud of having a japanese car/ german car or anything, just proud that you can affort it, and freaking pump the petrol. If you not meant for Malaysia, you wont be pumping Malaysia petrol. You are pretty welcome to pump at Singapore $2 dollar per litre.
Don’t be a kids kind of mind, face the fact that, this is multi nasional country, we should be proud that everybody can affort things, everybody can have their own house and cars.

I felt that you are kind of person who don’t understand the difference between satisfaction and happiness. Malaysia made car are meant to satisfy different salary range of Malaysian. Is up to you not to choose Malaysian car because your living has improve. What makes Malaysia car still not in the range of Japanese car? 1st of all, the existing of anti national car people who 1st love the national car so much but then it giving problem, and he start to criticize about the car. More local cars, more traffic jam, thats true. But to make Malaysian easier to move around, they have to do so, because public transport is not easy.
Be realistic, respects others choice and no sarcastic on local made things. I believe your Honda City parts full of China part. Ori expensive, give me china part, same same use one.

one and so far already the 3rd month - no disturbing problems…
Not a fan of Proton cars, just bought it coz of the superb pricing.

i sense something quite weird here.. there was the anti national car guy complaining about the proton’s lack of design. and he was boasting about driving a honda city? DUDE… the honda city has HORRIBLE design. no doubt that its got good fuel consumption and all.. but your point of attack was design.
anyway whats wrong with people buying cheaper cars? cars are not an investment, price depreciate over time. better buy a cheap car and have enough money to invest in a home rather then buy and a more expansive car and rent a house right.
yeah, proton hasn’t had a good track record when it comes to cars, and quality. but the funny thing is, when they produce an inferior product, we complain. when they produce something better, we still complain. if you’re not happy with it, then you may voice it out. but senseless bashing of the product and the people who buy it, is just downright dumb, and certainly shines a light on exactly what sort of mentality you have.

I heard the new engine,Campro with IAFM installed in the BLM will improve the engine’s power in low rpm n therefore the FC will be low.If thts true,i’ll buy the SAGA.The affordable price n low FC..Nowadays petrol getting expensive lo..huhu!=p

if u use expensive car even u save patrol money but u still need to pay the maintainance fees and spare parts are mahal lagi SERVICE CHARGes are higher compare to proton car. So all people in Malaysia. If proton cars macam mana tak bagus pun u still see many proton cars on the ROAD RIGHT? so even i own a Mez, i never felt proud myself. I i still feel that local cars still have market. thinking of buying new proton as the lucky draw for my staffs annual dinner for this year. We are Malaysian. try to love your country and people. BUT when i advised my father buy TOYOTA ESTIMA G2!!! then the problem appeared still NEW!!! this ESTIMA when we on the way back to KL at N9 Highway suddenly this BIG Truck Bummm KAputtt… after my father checked there have a problem with the chain and it’s broken OMG WTF This TOYOTA you are Kaput company Conman bastard we have to wait with full of shame on N9 highway with this big mama truck to get help from somebody. This is hot. The most awaited Brand New Proton BLM real photo unveiled. The new proton is believed to have 1.3 campro engine with a price less than Rm35,000.
With a nice shape and of course brand new design, I think this model will get a good sales here in Malaysia and will give competitor model such as viva, sutera or even myvi a tough challenge.

just like to say some words here.
Actually I drive proton and its my first car but I won’t get a proton again in the future if i have other option allow me choose. Please remember japanese car aren’t that expensive that you think. I believe many poor malaysian still effort to get a japanese car regardless imported version or local assembled version.
If it is not because of those imported car are highly taxed to protect proton I believe many poor malaysian wont have to end up driving poor cars. Futhermore this automobile company aren’t doing the best for our nation but taking advantage.

Conclusion aku cam ni je….
Kalau kerajaan x support ….bleh ke proton tu wujud, berjaya dan berdikari dengan sendirinya.
Kalau kerajaan jepun x support kereta atau produk yang mereka hasilkan….dapat ke syarikat automotif jepun dan ape-ape lancau la yang mereka hasilkan kat jepun tu berkembang dan berjaya seperti ape yang kita lihat hari ni,
Orang jepun dapat teknologi nak buat semua tu dari mana agaknya…..

..wow, great comment ppl. juat 2 share my opinion..i think that this new saga is great. especially for ppl like me buying their 1st car. say it a car for poor people or cheapskate ppl, but i mind u..go do a survey on ppl using dis so call cheap local cars..u’ll find that most of them belongs in the pro (i mind u, not POOR) carier! same goes to me..so much of a big talk from a small person huh anti-national car and moron (well..ur name said it well)..i dont think that ppl who drive honda is damn great..rm800+ per month payment of ur honda city probably leaving u eating meggi for the rest of the month..no offence here..u may say what u like..like what i did, but hey..if u r so againts national cars, its up 2 u..dont even bother looking at 1..it wont hurt the market. btw..what a very ‘decent’ way of talking mr.anti-national car..

To anti-national car and moron car. maybe it’s true that malaysian cars are not as good as the overseas’ one, but then if you think wisely, it is cheap for a reason, they use lower cost product but of course got quality. the car was made for everyone, means everyone can afford to buy it, regardless to the poor ones or the rich ones. as a malaysian we should support our country’s products, give Malaysia chance lah, At least they can create SOMETHING that everyone can use, CAN YOU? or maybe you are not a malaysian, ARE YOU? for your info, I won a volvo and also proton car. Which Volvo is of course much more expensive that your maybe a second-hand honda car. But I don’t go around and maki2 my own Malaysia products. If you don’t like Malaysia product or being a malaysian or Malaysia itself, bring your honda and go and live in other country, we’ll see whether you can survive there, I bet you can’t event afford to buy the petrol there. Last but not least, I think you are so arrogant and bodoh, ke you tak pernah masuk university pun to even understand why things are sometimes cheap?

Apabila saya baca pendapat anda semua, kadang-kadang geli hati juga. Apa yang diluahkan dan kata-kata yang digunakan melambangkan mentaliti anda. Elakkan menggunakan bahasa yang kesat atau menghina orang. Kita membincangkan Proton Saga BLM. Berilah pandangan dan komen secara objektif. Nyatakan pengalaman anda supaya orang lain dapat berkongsi bersama. Saya mempunyai pengalaman yang tidak beberapa seronok dengan Proton Saga BLM M-Line (manual). Saya beli masa ia baru dilancarkan dan dapat kereta tu dalam bulan April 2008. Sungguh mendukacitakan dari segi prestasi minyak. Satu tangki penuh (42 liter) hanya boleh dapat 200 km. Saya ingat mesti ada sesuatu yang tak kena. Saya tidak membuat sebarang perubahan pada kereta. Rim dan tayarnya pun masih original, malah saya guna mintak engin semi sintetik. Jadi saya pergi servis (servis pertama). Lepas servis dapatlah lebih kurang 220 km. Lepas saya pakai 3 bulan power window bermasalah (kejap boleh, kejap tak boleh. Lepas tu terus tak boleh. Terpaksalah servis lagi. Sekarang dah masuk 10 bulan, central locking pula bermasalah - bunyinya terus hilang sampai sekarang. Perkara yang baik tentang proton BLM ini ialah suspensionnya. Paling lembut yang pernah saya rasa. Tempat duduknya pun boleh dikatakan baik dibandingkan dengan Pesona. Tapi yang lain-lain tu anda nilailah sendiri. Dengan harga antara RM35 - 37k, saya rasa memang sesuai bagi rakyat Malaysia yang ingin memiliki kereta baru buat pertama kali. Sekurang-kurangnya mereka mempunyai pilihan. Proton seharusnya belajar menjaga kualiti. Jangan minta vendor buat komponen berkualiti tetapi nak harga yang murah. Tapi kalau Proton tak buat begitu macam nana nak jual dengan harga yang murah. Bagi Proton, saya nasihatkan terus buat kereta yang melangkau 10 tahu kehadapat dari segi teknologi mahupun bentuknya. Janganlah buat bentuk yang ketinggalan. Negara kita kan ramai automotif designer.

keje baru 5months. tp dh dpt cnfrmation later last month.. basic tuk slip gaji y 4month y lps just RM 900 tp trmasuk OT dpt lah RM1200 above… this month basic Start RM1100 kira2 dgn OT pn nek jd 1jam RM7.90 seblan le dpt RM1400 paling min..
