Last night TV3 confirm that the rumored price of the upcoming Proton Saga BLM will be around RM30K - RM35K. This is very interesting, and today, in the newspaper we already can see a side view of the BLM, mostly in turquoise color including on Proton website. Many other thing confirmed as well such as the logo, new logo will be silver instead of gold on current proton, not sure though only on the new saga or on all other protons as well. From Savvy Sedan to Proton Saga BLM, we just hope proton success this time, and hopefully, the quality is there as promised.

Since official video is in Quicktime format and not everyone have it, i converted it to flv and upload it to youtube. Enjoy the video dude, and please prepare to be amazed.

And most of us will be happy with Proton decision the keep the SAGA name, hence a new saga begins. Enjoy the screen grabbed from the video, the back and front outlook of the BLM is so nice and sporty. This will definitely sell like hot cakes. Will this kill viva or myvi?

This ramadhan there’s at least 2 local animations produced locally, one being Danial aired on TV1 and Upin dan Ipin aired on TV9. I can consider both of them as good effort but still cannot compete with imported one. Both story line is about Malaysian lifestyle during the month of ramadhan, both are very light and entertaining. Have fun with upin dan ipin.

Another great TVC from Petronas. Every year on all occasions celebrated by Malaysian, Petronas never failed to produce great TVC. I believe this one also another brainchild of Yasmin Ahmad. All of them are so meaningful, delivered in a very creative, touching, easy to understand and normally have impact on the viewer.

This TVC is about one lazy guy building a boat for his friend of which he owes money. Despite his friend Haji promise to settle his debt by building the boat for him, the output from his work still not good, instead try to cheat by using old boat frame at a lot of patches. In the end, Haji gave the boat and the engine to him to help him and he does not even have to pay. But alas, the boat already sinking.

The main message is “Can what we build today take us into tomorrow?”, the other message that got my attention is from dialog, “Sekarang kamu dah bebas Man, Tak payah bergantung pada sapa-sapa”. What we build today, should take us into tomorrow and, we should not rely on to ‘help’ forever. However, Kudos to Pak Man and Pak Haji, their acting if far better than most Malaysian actor. They should win best actor and best support actor award of the year.
