Evey single thing about iPhone never fail to make a big news although it’s just a normal phone. What’s make it special I think is just because it’s produced by Apple. Including unlocking the iPhone. engadget and gizmodo have been all this while posting news on the possibilities of unlocking the iPhone. Among recent news including UniquePhones, intended to release the iPhone unlock software but somehow delayed by Apple. And today a teenagers from New Jersey got himself 3 locked iPhones and a Nissan 350Z traded for his unlocked phone. WTF! a 350Z, I have been drooling about that and never thought of I can that traded with unlocked phone. The smart ass here is George Hotz and dumb ass here is definitely Terry Daidone, the founder of CertiCell.
Apparently, we have unlocked iPhones too in Malaysia. And it does not cost a fortune for the owner to own that and no, he did not get any offer to trade her unlocked iPhone even with Datsun 120Y. idam04u managed to unlock his iPhone bought in USA just following simple steps available online. From above picture, we can see the iPhone is on local DiGi network, fully functional. Yes, he can make and receive voice calls. No he cannot make and receive video calls.
For the first time, Microsoft doesn’t include solitaire in their Windows OS, specifically Windows Vista Business Edition. Oh what the heck solitaire you may say, but solitaire is the most played games in the world, beating any other advance games. Taking hours of employees time from their precious official working hours translating to millions of dollars in productivity loss.
One genius programmer has developed a web based version of solitaire using YUI. No flash at all, 100% javascript. Complete with nice design, multiple selections of decks, nice animation and what not. It’s a full featured solitaire game.

Another great TVC from Petronas. Every year on all occasions celebrated by Malaysian, Petronas never failed to produce great TVC. I believe this one also another brainchild of Yasmin Ahmad. All of them are so meaningful, delivered in a very creative, touching, easy to understand and normally have impact on the viewer.
This TVC is about one lazy guy building a boat for his friend of which he owes money. Despite his friend Haji promise to settle his debt by building the boat for him, the output from his work still not good, instead try to cheat by using old boat frame at a lot of patches. In the end, Haji gave the boat and the engine to him to help him and he does not even have to pay. But alas, the boat already sinking.
The main message is “Can what we build today take us into tomorrow?”, the other message that got my attention is from dialog, “Sekarang kamu dah bebas Man, Tak payah bergantung pada sapa-sapa”. What we build today, should take us into tomorrow and, we should not rely on to ‘help’ forever. However, Kudos to Pak Man and Pak Haji, their acting if far better than most Malaysian actor. They should win best actor and best support actor award of the year.

Proton just launched their new family members, Proton Persona, or simply Gen 2 Sedan. I’m not going to write any review about it as paultan and unker Chip already did a very good job at it. Unker Chip from autoworld is purely article, no direct comment associated with his article except in the infamous autoworld forum. However, Paultan is normal blog, with hundreds of comments, reading the comments from top to the bottom of the page is very time consuming. The one on the left has a pic of a petrol pump with markings 0, 1/2 and 1/1 where as the one on the right has a pic of a thermometer with markings 60, 90, 120 degress celcius.
Now, any person with one iota of a brain would sum up that one gauge is for fuel and one is for water coolant temp - I will let you guess which one!

This domain was once alive for about 6 months hosted under mogutou.com web hosting. Early this year, mogutou.com closed shop without even a single notice to all its client. Even before that, hostvibes.com was dormant. When the hosting company closed shop, the domain was further put on dormant, with no page to server at all, not even a valid name server setting.
When the domain was about to expire, goDaddy send notifications for few time of which I don’t bother to entertain. Until the last chance notification, they gave me 10% discount on top of already cheap domain price. With some thinking, I renew the domain for one year. To my joy and surprise, few days later Exabytes sent me an email telling my I’m one of their lucky winner, and Exabytes later unofficially become the hosting sponsor for 1 year.
